Submission of abstracts
The conference language is English. However, contributions in the Czech and Slovak languages may also be submitted, but their number will be limited to limited to one conference session only. The organizers reserve the right to prioritize contributions in English when preparing the program.
Abstracts should be prepared in the required format, according to templates available here: Abstract template – EnglishVzor abstraktu - česky
The abstract must not exceed 1 page (A4 format). At the end of each abstract, please, indicate whether the contribution is intended for oral or poster presentation. The program committee takes a final decision on the inclusion of the contribution among oral presentations. The factual content of the abstract must meet the focus of the conference (The Colour Theme) and must be inclusive with at least one of the following topics: (i) making colours (origin, provenance and ways of their production) (ii) understanding colours (via perception, chemical analysis and the painting technique evolution), (iii) changing colours (covering all aspects of degradation and the role of patina) and, finally, (iv) restoring colours – from local retouches to reconstructions (also including the virtual ones). Due to the interdisciplinary character of the conference, it is also necessary that new knowledge or methodological approaches are always shown on the example(s) of particular works of art. Still open for poster presentations
. Abstracts should be sent in Word format (* .doc or * .docx) to the email address of the conference - firstname.lastname@example.org
Notification of acceptance of the abstract to the conference program will be delivered by 5th

A necessary condition for keeping the abstracts in the program is the registration of the presenting author for the conference and the subsequent payment of the conference fee, which must take place no later than 30 days after the delivery of the notification of acceptance.
