The ALMA Laboratory is organizing the second exhibition dedicated to portrait miniatures, this time in cooperation with the Regional Museum in Chomutov and the National Heritage Institute at České Budějovice.

At the exhibition, a painted portrait miniature is presented in the light of the changes of society in the 16th - 20th centuries, which predetermined not only its diversity and expansion, but also the ways of execution, painting technique and materials. The latest and often surprising results obtained by detailed non-invasive research of miniatures using recent analytical methods are presented, as well as the materials and tools with which miniaturists have worked.
